Hi.

My name is Nazar and I’ve developed pantherFotos.com with my wife Amanda.

PantherFotos.com is a place where photographers can easily upload high resolution photos and enjoy the benefits of our automated work flow mechanism that automatically generates thumbnails and watermarked preview images. Also provided is a mechanism where photographs can be assigned multiple categories and tags for some very flexible indexing. We’ve also thrown in some social networking goodness by enabling photographers to add each other to a contacts lists. Finally we’ve added abit of AJAX to some of our pages that hopefully streamlines the interaction process.

Throw in a blogging and forums gives photographers an ideal medium to not only showcase and sell their items but also interact with visitors via blogs, journals and our forums.

I intend to use this blog to highlight upcoming features and to report on any new features or functionality that is implemented at pantherFotos.com

We’ve got several ideas planned:

• Photographers highlight page
• Facility for photographers to create photo albums or collections and then put a price on a collection. Clients will then be able to purchase a set of photos (ie my winter photos collection).
• Customizable watermarks will allow a photographer to provide her own watermark on her photos.
• Ebay HTML description generator. This is currently in beta testing and we hope to roll this out to our Professional members in a number of weeks.
• Affiliates accounts.
