Weston's Grand Pier on a bight summers day. This is an HDR image, which is a combination of 5 photos that range from +2 overexposure to -2 over exposure. Combine these results in an image that produces a higher dynamic range which better captures details in highlights (ie details in the clouds) and shadows.

This is a very ambitious Panorama of Ilfracombe. It was a misty morning at Ilfracombe and I've tried to capture the feeling of the mist as it touched the nearly hillsides. I term this an ambitious photography as it is made up of a total of 45 separate photos, varying in exposure from -2 to +2. These were stitched together and given the HDR treatment.

Steepholme and Flatholme as Seen while docked at Penarth(they can be spotted at the right side end of the horizon). A very moody image capture on a cruise on the "Bolmoral":http://www.waverleyexcursions.co.uk/balmoral.htm on one of its rare trips from Weston-super-Mare. The effect was achieved by taking a series of photos, with the exposure compensation ranging from -3 to +3 EV. These were aligned then highlights and shadows were compressed. This was not my intended final photo but it caught my eye in Photoshop as I was cycling through the layer merge options.

An interesting Panorama of the "Balmoral":http://www.waverleyexcursions.co.uk/balmoral.htm as it was docked at Penarth. Behind the door in front is the impressive (and shiny) engine room.

Many will remember the summer of 2007 to be a very wet, cold and windy in England. The nice weather finally broke through in August and this was the first of many...

Wood horse from a merry go round, which is visiting Weston-super-Mare and can be found near Knighstone Island. This fellow caught mine and Amanda's eye on our evening stroll.

Flash Red ZZ Top Type Car in Weston-super-Mare. This was a tricky shot to put together as you can imagine this vehicle was attracting alot of attention. All people were removed from this photo by taking six and blending photographs to produce this final image.
